Crow Point
At the southern end of Braunton Burrows you will find Crow Point – a perfect beach for a wander and also popular with bird watchers and fisherman. You can look across the Torridge/Taw estuary where you can see the pretty village of Appledore and in the distance Instow. During low tide you can see Pulley Bank – a mile long shingle and mussel bed which is marked by three buoys. if you are lucky at high tide seals can often be seen as well.
